Worship & Music

Music has been part of my life and faith through many different seasons. Michael W. Smith’s Christ Be All Around Me has held particular meaning for me. I also enjoy music from Shane & Shane and Skillet. A song I’ve especially been enjoying lately is Peace Be Still by Seventh Day Slumber and Kutless. I’m still gathering other songs and artists I’d like to share here.

But I’ve been challenged to ask whether I’m truly worshipping God or sometimes becoming more focused on the music itself. This Cooper Stuff episode helped me think more deeply about that question, alongside Augustine’s reflections in Confessions.
